lEmployment Rate @ HITSZ

nMore than 60% of graduates are employed in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area;

nMore than 70% of the graduates work in PWC, EY, Intel, Huawei, Tencent, Mindray and other well-known enterprises;

nAttracting and supporting overseas students to start businesses in Shenzhen;

nMore than 100 graduates have founded their own companies, 85% founded in Shenzhen, and 89% being scientific and technological enterprises. Among these alumni enterprises, a number of national-level enterprises have emerged on the new third board and as "unicorn" companies.

 

 

lUndergraduate Programs

The basic length of study for undergraduate majors is 4 years (5 years for architecture majors). The longest length of study is the basic number of years of schooling plus 2 years, that is, 6 or 7 years.

 

lWho Can Apply?

nCitizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China complying with the relevant regulations set by Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC;

nHigh school diploma holder and under the age of 25;

nIn good health both mentally and physically.

    

lWhen to Apply?

nApplication Opens: January, 10^th, 2024;

nLast day of Early Bird Application: March,30^th, 2024 (Applicants applying before this date will have a better chance of getting the university scholarship);

nDeadline for Regular Application: June, 10th, 2024.

 

lApplication Materials

All application documents in other languages must be notarized in English or Chinese. All documents shall be submitted online:

nPassport home page;

nHigh school diploma or degree certificate;

nOfficial transcripts;

nLanguage proficiency certificates:

uTOEFL≥ 80, IELTS≥ 6.0 or Duolingo English Test ≥ 90;

uOfficial English Proficiency Statement from the high school;

uNo certificates when applicant’s first language is English;

nA photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (usually issued within six months before the application submission date);

nNon-criminal record report (valid within 6 months);

nBank Statement (at least CNY 20,000 or equivalent foreign currency);

nPayment receipt of application fee (Screen Shot);

nApplicants under the age of 18 before September 1, 2024 must provide a guardian's letter of assurance;

nProof of outstanding academic achievements, sports, art, cultural exchanges, public welfare activities, etc. (not mandatory).

 

lHow to Apply?

nStep1:Login online application at hitsz.at0086.cn/student (by computer) or hitsz.at0086.cn/mobile/student (by cellphone), fill in required application information and upload application materials;

nStep 2: Pay application fee of CNY 400/ USD 60 (Non-refundable once applied)

(1) Bank transfer to the HITSZ university account. Remittance Information is as follow:

 

 

nStep 3: Upload application fee payment receipt and submit application online;

nStep 4: Keep track of admission result. Admission Notice from HITSZ will be issued to Qualified applications after their successfully submission.

 

lFees

*Notes:  

1. Dormitory check-in procedures is after university registration;

2. University dormitory is for students to live in only. Due to the limited number of rooms and room types, please book your dormitory online as soon as possible after being admitted. Arrangements for those who have not made online reservations will be subject to the actual remaining room availability;

3. According to relevant regulations in China, international students shall be covered by designated insurance during their study and stay in China.

 

lScholarships

*Note:

1. Guangdong Government Outstanding International Students Scholarship, Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship and HITSZ Entrance Scholarship are three different scholarships, students can enjoy only one of the three scholarships at a time;

2. Both Guangdong Government Outstanding International Students Scholarship and Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship are one-year scholarship with limited quota, and will be determined in October to November each year with off-line application procedures;

3. HITSZ Entrance Scholarship will be applied and determined during online application; Scholarship status will be reviewed according to students’ performance at the end of the first academic year.
